We are extremely proud of our excellent staff of teachers and directors! Our staff is part of the consistent care provided by Kids R Kids.
All Kids R Kids faculty and personnel are required to follow state regulations that apply to training. Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, SIDS, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations are given to provide the staff with skills needed to create a quality learning environment. The staff is encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training opportunities. We are pleased to announce that our lead teachers are either in the process of or already have their CDA. A few have even gone on to get their Directors Certification.
Are teachers assigned to specific classrooms or do they move up with their students?
Teachers have assigned classrooms which allows for them to develop experience and expertise for a given age range. As our curriculum is targeted around age milestones, this pairing works well to maximize learning from a team who knows how to reach students in that age range as well as identifying strategies for each student to achieve their potential. Kids R Kids uses an approach where classes are organized around students within a six month age range, further closing the gap that can exist for classes that have a wider age range.
Did you know, Kids R Kids School of Fall Creek have employees that have been with us an average of 2-7 years. In fact, a few of our staff are original to the opening of the first Kids R Kids in Houston (Kings River) and we are proud of their involvement at Kids R Kids!
