What makes the Kids R Kids of Fall Creek different?
Each classroom is designed with children in mind. Tempered glass walls surround each classroom from floor to ceiling, enabling children to see their surrounding environment. Each preschool classroom is equipped with a boy's and a girl's rest rooms as well as hand washing sinks for optimal convenience. The separated carpeted and tiled areas allow for creative play as well as group time activities with friends. Children need to run and play and we are aware of the benefits, both mentally and physically. You will find four separate playgrounds (with shade covers throughout) and even a water park! Our outdoor play areas are used for running, sliding, swinging and organized group games. You will also find our curriculum being used as children plant a garden, dig for bugs or envision pictures in the clouds. We do need to mention that safety is the number one rule, both inside and on the playground. Each staff member is trained in supervision, first aid and CPR. Kids R Kids International, researches and writes it own curriculum for preschool and school age children. Our curriculum philosophy is that children learn best through play. Jean Piaget, an esteemed psychologist learned that children understand concepts when they are introduced through social interaction with other in a structured environment. We know when a child experiences a concept; it is understood and therefore remembered. Each classroom is equipped with curriculum that is theme-based and covers all areas of learning to include: Artistic Creations, Blocks and building design, Dramatic Play, Library and Literature, Math and Table Activities, Music and Movement, Science and Discovery, Sand and Water, Writing Exploration, Outdoor Fun, (including rainy day activities), morning and afternoon group times, and of course, the Listening center.
Our School is Accredited by AdvancEd and is recognized as a 4 Star Texas Rising Star School. The curriculum we us is now CITA accredited, so when you enroll at Kids R Kids of Fall Creek you have a School that has been recognized as upholding the highest of educational and care standards for children! Daily Reports for infant, toddler, and preschool children describe your child's day, including meal times, nap times and other important classroom activities and announcements. Parents always enjoy this form of communication from our staff. Another way for parents to stay in touch with their child's day is by taking part in child/parent days at school. Throughout the year each classroom often invites parents to spend time in the classroom while the children show off what they have accomplished at school. Kids R Kids wants parents to feel secure regarding the care of their children. Parents have the ability and pleasure of viewing their child from their personal computer at home or work by using a private password to gain entrance to our video camera system. Parents can observe their child in the classroom, the Kids Cafe, and at some locations on the playground. Seeing your child well cared for, as well as allowing close relatives to view your children, if you wish, speaks volumes about keeping family connections in tact.
How do you handle sickness at the School?
Health and safety is a major focus for Kids R Kids of Fall Creek. We have a professional cleaning service at the School each night as well as having our closing staff to clean and sanitize their rooms. We utilize a machine known as the ZonoSanitech that sanitizes everything placed inside with a 30 minute cycle. We run toys, books, manipulatives, sleep mats, etc. through this to minimize the opportunity for colds and flus to be spread around the School. Hand sanitizers for parents are placed outside the classroom of every door for convenience. If we find that a particular class has several instances of sickness, we stop the rotation going into the ZonoSanitech machine and just focus on that class until everything that we can fit into it has been run through. In a case like this we also use a sanitizing mister that is released at the close of business in that classroom just to help further protect our students and staff.
What are the ages of the children at the School?
We have programs for children six weeks old through 12 years of age. The after school program picks students up from local School and brings them to Kids R Kids, where they enjoy a snack, homework help, time to get outside and get some of the excess energy out, and a host of activities that they enjoy with their friends. In June, July, and August, we host our own Summer Camp where exciting Field Trips, engaging presentations, weekly themes, sports competitions, and building opportunities are offered to help students continue learning without even realizing they are doing it!
How are students safe guarded at the School?
Safety inspections and drills are done monthly to ensure that in the event of an emergency we are prepared. To ensure we know who is on the premises, we employ a locked from door at all times and do not provide a key pad access as we want to know when someone enters the building. As such, anyone coming to the school is allowed access by a lock release button being pressed by the front staff. The cameras on the premises allow us to keep an eye on the perimeter of our facility and there is a monitor displaying the feeds in our lobby. All staff are required to undergo and maintain CPR training as well as our Infant teachers receiving SIDS training.
Do you have an offers or specials?
We want you to come and experience the difference here at Kids R Kids and so we are offering an Education Scholarship.
